You can pause bookings without deleting your account by blocking your calendar for specific dates or by unpublishing your property. Both options keep your property details, settings, and reviews safe, so you can resume hosting whenever you're ready.

Pause Bookings by Blocking Your Calendar

Blocking your calendar is the most flexible way to stop accepting bookings for selected dates. It works well if you:

• Are taking a short break
• Need time for repairs or upgrades
• Expect to reopen soon
• Want your property to stay visible and ready for later

Guests cannot book the dates you block, and your property remains active on all channels.

Unpublish Your Property

If you want your property hidden from Holidu and partner channels for a longer period, you can unpublish it. Unpublishing removes your property from all channels but keeps your information intact so you can republish it at any time.

Note: Unpublishing must be done by the host.

How to unpublish a property

1. Log in to your Holidu Host account.
2. Go to Properties and select your property.
3. Scroll to Advanced Settings.
4. Click Unpublish and confirm.

Once unpublished, your property stops receiving new bookings, while your details, history, and settings remain available in your account.

What Happens to Your Information

Whether you block your calendar or unpublish your property, you can still:

• Log in and access your Holidu account
• Review booking and payment history
• View and edit your property details
• Reactivate your property whenever you choose

Some booking data must be retained for legal and operational reasons, such as invoices, complaints, and upcoming stays. Your account therefore stays accessible even when your property is unavailable.

Request Permanent Deletion of Your Data

If you are certain you no longer want to use Holidu, you can request permanent deletion of your personal data.

Important: Once deleted, your account, properties, messages, and booking history cannot be recovered. If you only want to pause hosting, blocking your calendar is the better option.

Keep Your Dashboard Organized With Filters

To see only your active properties in your property list, use the filter at the top of the page and select Published properties. This filter only changes what you see and does not affect how your properties appear on channels.
