Why Connect Your Property to AVS Germany?

Connecting your property to AVS Germany is essential for legal compliance and streamlined guest management. When you establish this connection, you ensure that guest information is accurately reported to local authorities, maintaining transparency and adhering to registration requirements. This integration also helps create a secure environment for both you as a host and your guests, while reducing manual administrative work and minimizing the risk of errors in guest data reporting.

Important note: AVS integration is currently available only in the regions of Sellin, Glowe, and Hesse.

How to Connect Your Property to AVS?

Follow these straightforward steps to connect your property to AVS Germany:

Step 1: Access Your Account Settings

Open the Holidu App and tap on the Holidu Logo to access the main menu. Navigate to the "Account" section and locate the "Online guest registration" option. Click the "Configure" button to begin the setup process.

Step 2: Select Your Property

You will see a list of all your properties. Find the property you wish to connect to AVS and click the "Configure" button next to it.

Step 3: Fill Out the AVS Connection Form

Complete the configuration form with the following information:

  • Check the option "Activate automatic sending to the authority"
  • Ensure that AVS is selected as your registration service
  • Enter your AVS credentials in the designated fields
  • If you need help locating your AVS credentials, click on "Where to find those credentials" for step-by-step guidance

Step 4: Validate Your Connection

Click the "Validate" button to verify that your credentials and configuration are correct. If no error message appears, your property has been successfully connected to AVS.

Step 5: Configure Guest Categories

Scroll down on the configuration page to customize the names of guest categories. These categories will be visible to your guests during the online check-in process, allowing them to select the category that applies to them.

Step 6: Activate Guest Card Feature (Optional)

If you want to provide guest cards to your visitors, activate this feature by toggling the "Activate the guest card" option.

Step 7: Save Your Changes

Click the "Save changes" button to apply all your configuration settings.

Step 8: Confirm Active Connection Status

Close the configuration pop-up. You will now see that your connection status displays as "Active," confirming that your property is successfully connected to AVS Germany.
