The professional photography service is only available in Focus Regions. In certain areas, the service may not be available. Availability depends on photographer coverage in the specific geographic area. Additionally, not all properties are automatically eligible for this service.

Important Considerations for Professional Photos

  • Professional photographs cannot be reviewed before publication on your listing. The photography team will be responsible for selecting and organizing them based on portal performance data.
  • You retain full control to manage your photo gallery, including professional photos taken by Holidu.
  • Holidu maintains a backup of all professional photos. If you accidentally delete a professional photo, you can contact support to have it restored.
  • Professional photographs are Holidu's property and are not available for purchase by hosts.

Uploading Your Own Photos

If you prefer to upload your own pictures or want to add additional photos to your gallery, follow these guidelines to ensure optimal performance:

Photo Requirements

  • The first picture in your gallery will be used as the main display photo across partner sites, so choose this carefully.
  • Gallery order impacts booking performance—use high-quality, well-lit photos for your cover shot and first few images.
  • Only image files are supported; videos cannot be uploaded.
  • Supported image formats: JPG and PNG only.
  • All images must be in landscape format.
  • Minimum of 10 photographs required.
  • Minimum resolution of 1,024 x 768 pixels.
  • Recommended resolution of 2,000 pixels for high-quality images.

  • Use wide angles to capture the full scope of each room and space.
  • Ensure images are well-composed and show your property in its best condition.

How to Manage Your Photo Gallery

Adding Photos

  1. Log in to your Holidu Host account and select the property you want to edit.
  2. Click the Pictures tab in the property navigation bar.
  3. Click the Add Photo button.
  4. Follow the prompts to upload images from your device.
  5. Ensure images meet all technical requirements before uploading.

Deleting Photos

  1. Log in to your Holidu Host account and select the property.
  2. Click the Pictures tab.
  3. Hover over the photo you want to remove.
  4. Click the Actions menu (three dots) next to the photo.
  5. Select Delete from the menu.
  6. Confirm the deletion when prompted.
  7. Remember that Holidu keeps a backup of all photos, so deleted images can be restored upon request if needed.

Reordering Photos

  1. Log in to your Holidu Host account and select the property.
  2. Click the Pictures tab.
  3. Click and hold a photo you want to move.
  4. Drag it to your desired position in the gallery.
  5. Drop it to save the new order.
  6. The gallery will update with your new photo sequence.

Saving Your Changes

After adding, deleting, or reordering your photos, always click Save changes to ensure your updates are applied to your listing. Your changes may take a few moments to appear across all partner sites.
