Keeping your property address accurate is essential for ensuring guests can find you easily and for maintaining consistency across all booking platforms. If you need to update or correct your property's address, follow the steps below to make the necessary changes.

How to Edit Your Property Address

Follow these simple steps to update your property address through your account:

Step 1: Access the Location Tab

Navigate to the Location tab of your property within the Property Management System (PMS). This is where all your address details are stored and managed.

Step 2: Review Current Address Details

Carefully review the address information currently displayed for your property. Check all fields including street address, city, postal code, and country to identify any errors.

Step 3: Report an Issue

If you notice an error in your property address, click on the "Fix or report an issue" option. This will allow you to initiate the correction process.

Step 4: Select the Appropriate Scenario

When you report the issue, you will be prompted to select one of the following scenarios:

A. The address is wrong in Holidu App – Choose this option if the address displayed in the Holidu application is incorrect.

B. The address is correct in Holidu App, but wrong in portal(s) – Choose this option if the address is accurate in Holidu but appears incorrectly on external booking platforms such as Airbnb or Booking.com.

Important Information About Address Changes

Documentation Requirements

To process address changes on external channels, particularly Booking.com, a recent utility bill is mandatory. Acceptable documents include:

  • Electricity bill
  • Internet bill
  • Water bill
  • Gas bill
  • Any other official utility bill showing your exact property address

Grace Period

You have a grace period of 24 hours from the time your property is published to report any address inconsistencies. After this window closes, incorrect information that affects confirmed bookings may result in compensation claims from guests according to legal provisions.

Processing Times

Address updates are processed at different speeds depending on the platform:

Holidu Group Sites: Address updates are applied instantly after you save the changes in your account.

External Platforms (Airbnb and Booking.com): Changes typically take 7 to 14 days to appear on these platforms. We recommend verifying the update after this period to ensure accuracy.
