Holidu Protect offers you comprehensive coverage for your holiday rental property. You can activate this protection individually for each of your properties with just a few clicks in your Holidu Host account. This guide walks you through the process step by step.

Activating Holidu Protect

Follow these steps to enable Holidu Protect for your property:

Step 1: Access Your Property Settings

Log in to your Holidu Host account and navigate to the property configuration of the holiday home you want to protect. Once you're in the main dashboard, locate and select the specific property you wish to activate protection for.

Step 2: Navigate to Pricing & Protection

In your property settings, click on Pricing & Protection. You will see a section titled "Protect your Property" with a Configure button. Click this button to proceed.

Step 3: Review Terms & Conditions

Read through the information about Holidu Protect carefully. Review all the details to understand what coverage is included. Once you have reviewed the information, you must accept the Terms & Conditions by checking the confirmation box to proceed.

Step 4: Activate Holidu Protect

Click the Activate Holidu Protect button. A confirmation message will appear indicating that Holidu Protect has been successfully activated for your property.

What Happens After Activation

Once you confirm activation, Holidu Protect becomes immediately active for all future bookings at that property. Please note that if you currently have security deposits in place, they will be automatically deactivated when you activate Holidu Protect.

Deactivating Holidu Protect

You have full flexibility to manage your protection settings. If you wish to deactivate Holidu Protect for any property, follow the same steps above (Steps 1-2) to access the Pricing & Protection section. Instead of clicking "Activate," you will see the option to deactivate. Click to disable the protection, and confirm your choice.
