Holidu Protect offers flexible property protection that you can activate or deactivate individually for each of your properties. This guide will walk you through the simple steps to enable or disable this feature in your Holidu Host account.
Activating Holidu Protect
Follow these straightforward steps to activate Holidu Protect for your property:
Step 1: Access Your Property Configuration
Log in to your Holidu Host account and navigate to the property configuration of the holiday home you want to protect.
Step 2: Open Pricing & Protection Settings
In your property settings, click on Pricing & Protection. Then locate the section labeled "Protect your Property" and click the Configure button.
Step 3: Review and Accept Terms & Conditions
Read through all the information about Holidu Protect carefully. Once you understand the coverage and benefits, accept the Terms & Conditions by checking the appropriate box.
Step 4: Confirm Activation
Click on the Activate Holidu Protect button. You will receive a confirmation message indicating that Holidu Protect has been activated successfully.
What Happens After Activation
Once you confirm activation, Holidu Protect becomes immediately active for all future bookings at that property. If you have security deposits currently in place, they will be automatically deactivated upon enabling Holidu Protect.
Deactivating Holidu Protect
You can deactivate Holidu Protect at any time by following the same steps above and selecting the deactivation option instead. This provides you with complete flexibility in managing your property protection settings.
