How to Activate or Deactivate Holidu Protect

Holidu Protect gives you comprehensive coverage for your holiday property. You can activate or deactivate this protection individually for each of your properties at any time through your Holidu Host account.

How to Activate Holidu Protect

Follow these simple steps to enable Holidu Protect for your property:

Step 1: Access Property Configuration

Log in to your Holidu Host account and navigate to the property configuration of the holiday home you want to protect.

Step 2: Go to Pricing & Protection

In your property settings, click on Pricing & Protection. Then click the Configure button in the "Protect your Property" section.

Step 3: Review and Accept Terms & Conditions

Read through the information about Holidu Protect, including coverage details and terms. Once you understand the protection features, accept the Terms & Conditions to proceed.

Step 4: Activate Holidu Protect

Click the Activate Holidu Protect button. You will immediately see a confirmation message indicating that Holidu Protect has been successfully activated.

How to Deactivate Holidu Protect

If you need to disable Holidu Protect for a property, you can deactivate it just as easily:

1. Log in to your Holidu Host account and go to the property configuration
2. Click on Pricing & Protection in the property settings
3. Click the Deactivate button in the "Protect your Property" section
4. Confirm your decision when prompted

Once deactivated, Holidu Protect will no longer apply to new bookings at that property.

Important Information

• Immediate Activation: After confirmation, Holidu Protect is immediately active for all future bookings at that property
• Per-Property Flexibility: You have full flexibility to activate or deactivate protection on a property-by-property basis at any time
• Security Deposits: If you have security deposits in place, they will be deactivated once Holidu Protect is activated
• No Manual Steps Required: Activation and deactivation require no paperwork or manual updates — just a few clicks in your Holidu account
