What is the Star Host Program?

The Star Host Program is Holidu's way of recognizing hosts who provide excellent experiences for their guests. Hosts who earn Star Host status get a badge on their listing, which helps their property stand out and builds trust with future guests.

The program rewards consistent quality, so it is not a one-time award. Your performance is checked every month, and you keep the badge as long as you continue to meet the standards.

How does the Star Host Program work?

You are evaluated automatically every month. To qualify, your account needs to meet three requirements.

• Complete at least 6 bookings: You need more than five non-cancelled bookings that were made within the past 365 days and whose stays have been completed. At least one of these bookings must have been made through the Holidu platform.
• Maintain high guest ratings: You need at least three reviews with an average score above 90 out of 100.
• Avoid cancellations due to host error: You must have no cancellations caused by host error or overbooking in the past year.

Note: The 365-day window is based on the booking date, not the stay date. A booking made more than a year ago does not count toward Star Host status, even if the guest stayed recently.

How do I qualify for the Star Host badge?

To qualify, you need to meet all three criteria in the same monthly review. Focus on three things: complete enough bookings, keep your guest ratings high, and avoid host-caused cancellations and overbookings.

• Keep your calendar accurate so that you never accept a booking you cannot honor.
• Respond to guests promptly and keep your listing details up to date.
• Build your review count over time. You need at least three reviews before your average score counts.

How do I keep my Star Host status?

You keep the badge by meeting the same standards every month. Because the booking window is rolling, older bookings drop out of the count after 365 days. Make sure you keep completing bookings and maintaining strong guest ratings so that you stay above the thresholds.

What are the benefits of being a Star Host?

The Star Host Program recognizes your individual performance instead. It highlights you as a top-performing host based on your guest reviews, completed bookings, and reliability.
