How do I create a new property listing?

We're excited that you want to add a new property to Holidu! It's quick and easy to get started. Follow these steps to create your new listing.

Step 1: Log In to Your Account

Start by logging into your Holidu account. Once you're in, click on "Properties" to begin the process.

Step 2: Add a New Property

You'll see the "+ Add Property" button. On desktop, it's in the top left corner. On the mobile app, it's in the bottom right corner. Click it to start setting up your new listing.

Step 3: Choose the Type of Property

You'll be asked whether your property is a single structure (one dwelling unit) or multi-unit (several units at the same address). Pick the option that best describes your property.

Step 4: Import Existing Listing Information (Optional)

Next, we'll ask: "Is your property already listed on a booking platform (e.g., Booking.com, Airbnb)?" If yes, you can import some of your listing information directly to Holidu, which helps you configure your property faster.

Step 5: Enter the Property Name

Give your property a name that's easy for potential guests to understand.

Step 6: Select Property Type and Guest Capacity

Choose what type of property it is (e.g., Finca, apartment, chalet, vacation home, villa, hotel-apartment) and specify the maximum number of guests it can accommodate.

Important note: It's currently not possible to set a minimum number of guests for a property. This means you cannot restrict bookings to only be accepted when a specified minimum number of guests is met. Additionally, hotel rooms and rentals where the host resides in the same property during the guest's stay cannot be listed.

Step 7: Add the Property Location

Enter your property's full address and move the pin on the map to the exact location of your property.

Step 8: Provide the Host Email Address

If you're using a property manager account, enter the email address of the host account associated with the property.

What Happens Next?

Your property is now created with its basic information. You'll then need to fully configure it by adding photos, descriptions, and other details before clicking "Request Publication."

Once you've requested your new ad to be published, your Account Manager will contact you to complete all final details and publish your listing on the distribution channels.
