How do I create a new property listing?
We're excited that you want to add a new property to Holidu! Creating a listing is quick and easy to do directly from your account. Follow these simple steps to get started.
Step-by-step guide to creating your property listing
1. Log in to your account
Start by logging into your Holidu account. Once you're in, click on Properties to begin the process.
2. Add a new property
You'll see the + Add Property button (top left on Desktop) or + Add button (bottom right in the app). Click this to start setting up your new listing.
3. Choose your property type
Select whether your property is a single structure (one dwelling unit) or a multi-unit property (several units at the same address). Pick the option that best describes your property.
4. Import existing listing information (optional)
We'll ask: "Is your property already listed on a booking platform (e.g., Booking.com, Airbnb)?" If yes, you can import some of your existing listing information directly to Holidu, allowing you to set up your property faster.
5. Enter your property name
Give your property a clear, memorable name that helps potential guests understand what they're booking.
6. Select property type and guest capacity
Choose your property type (Finca, apartment, chalet, vacation home, villa, hotel-apartment, etc.) and specify the maximum number of guests it can accommodate.
Important note: You cannot currently set a minimum guest requirement. Hotel rooms and properties where the host resides during the guest's stay cannot be listed on Holidu.
7. Add your property location
Enter your property's full address and move the map pin to the exact location of your property.
8. Provide the host email (property managers only)
If you're managing properties on behalf of hosts, enter the email address of the host account associated with the property.
What happens next?
Your property is now created with its basic information. Before publication, you'll need to fully configure it by adding photos, descriptions, pricing, and house rules.
Once you've completed all details, click Request Publication. Your Account Manager will then contact you to finalize any remaining details and publish your listing on our distribution channels.
Tip: Complete all sections with accurate, detailed information to help your property stand out to potential guests and speed up the publication process.
