The onboarding fee helps you get your property listed on Holidu and set up the tools you need to manage bookings effectively. Here's everything you need to know about when and how this fee is charged.

When is the onboarding fee charged?

The onboarding fee is deducted from the payout of your first booking. It's charged at the property level, which means it applies even if the booking is canceled.

How much is deducted and when do I receive my payout?

The amount is deducted before we send you the payout for the booking. A separate invoice for the onboarding fee is created and can be found in your Invoices section.

What if I have multiple properties?

If you have multiple properties, the onboarding fee is charged for each one separately.

What happens if my first booking gets canceled?

At Holidu we work with a balance concept. If a booking with an already processed payout gets canceled, you don't need to refund us. Instead, we deduct the amount from your next booking. The onboarding fee remains in place until we can deduct it from another booking.

How do I check if the onboarding fee applies to my account?

To check whether the onboarding fee applies to your Holidu account, follow these steps:

1. Log in to your Holidu account at host.holidu.com/app
2. Go to the Holidu Logo on the upper right side
3. Click on Account and scroll to the bottom of the page
4. Look for Your Holidu agreement section
5. Click the Download button next to Your Holidu agreement to view your agreement details

Your agreement will clearly state whether the onboarding fee applies in your specific market.

Where can I find my onboarding fee invoice?

You can find your onboarding fee invoice in your Invoices section within your host account. The invoice is generated when the fee is deducted from your first booking payout.
