When you receive a booking through Holidu, a commission is automatically calculated and added to your account. Understanding how this works helps you manage your earnings effectively.

What Commission Does Holidu Charge?

Holidu combines all costs—including channel fees, processing fees, and Holidu's service fee—into a single commission amount. This commission is already included in the price guests pay, so there are no hidden charges. Your net earnings clearly show the commission deducted, displayed on both your booking invoice and booking details.

How Do Extra Fees Affect Commission?

You can configure extra fees for your property, which may be included in the total price shown to guests or charged on-site depending on the booking channel and fee type. Any applicable commission on these fees is reflected in your net earnings calculations.

Understanding VAT on Your Invoices

Depending on your VAT status, your commission invoice may include Value Added Tax. For detailed information about VAT and how it applies to your account, please check this article on VAT.

What About External Channel Commissions?

Partner portals such as Airbnb or Booking.com may apply their own commissions or service fees on top of your base prices. This means the final price shown to guests on external channels may differ slightly from what you set in your Holidu account. Your Holidu pricing always reflects your base amount before external channel fees are applied.
