When you receive a booking through Holidu, a commission is automatically calculated and added to your account. Understanding how this commission works helps you manage your earnings effectively.

What is included in Holidu's commission?

All costs—including channel fees, processing fees, and Holidu's service fee—are combined into one single commission (if applicable to your account). The important thing to know is that this commission is already included in the price the guest pays, so there are no hidden surprises or additional charges beyond what was quoted.

How are extra fees handled?

You can configure additional fees in your account, which may either be included in the total price shown to guests or charged on-site, depending on the booking channel and fee type. Any applicable commission will be clearly reflected in your net earnings on both the booking invoice and booking details page.

Do I need to pay commission on all bookings?

Commission is applied based on your account configuration. You can review your specific pricing conditions anytime in your Holidu Host Account by navigating to the Holidu Logo in the upper right-hand corner, selecting Account, and scrolling to "Your Current Pricing Conditions." Here you'll see your current Holidu fee, any applicable discounts, and commission rates for each channel (Holidu.com, Booking.com, Airbnb, etc.).

What about partner channels like Airbnb and Booking.com?

Partner portals such as Airbnb or Booking.com may apply their own commission or service fees on top of the price you set in your Holidu account. This also applies to additional guest fees (for example, per guest or per night). The final price shown to guests on external channels may therefore differ from the base price you set in Holidu. Remember: the prices you configure in Holidu always refer to your base amount before any external commissions or service fees are added by the booking channel.

How is VAT handled?

Where can I see my current commission rates?

To review your pricing and commission conditions:

1. Log into your Holidu Host Account
2. Click the Holidu Logo in the upper right-hand corner and select Account
3. Scroll down to "Your Current Pricing Conditions"
4. Here you can view and download your signed Holidu agreement, current Holidu fee, any applicable discounts, and commission rates for all booking channels

How do I access my commission invoices?

To view and download invoices for each booking:

1. Log into your Holidu Host Account
2. From the left-hand menu, scroll down to Financials > Invoices
3. You'll see all commission invoices listed by date and booking reference
4. Click Download to save a copy for your records

Each invoice serves as the legal document for all charges associated with the booking, making it easy to track your earnings and commissions in one place.
