The Booking Modification feature lets you handle guest requests to change a booking from your Holidu account, so you can respond to guests faster.
Previously, booking modification requests from guests on Airbnb or Booking.com required some intermediary steps. Now, these requests are managed directly in your Holidu account, giving you a clearer view of each request and control over your calendar.

- Direct handling: Guest requests for booking changes come straight to you. You can approve, decline, or suggest modifications based on your availability and preferences.

How Does This Process Work?
Step 1: Receive Notifications
You'll receive notifications via email and the Holidu app whenever there's a booking modification request. To receive notifications from the Holidu app, ensure that push notifications are enabled.
Step 2: View Requests in Your Account
Requests will also appear on your home page and booking overview in your Holidu account and in the Holidu app.
Step 3: Review Key Details
You'll see important information about the requested modification, including:
- Duration changes
- Guest count adjustments
- Date modifications
- Updated earnings based on the modification
Step 4: Accept or Reject the Request
After reviewing the request, you can accept or reject it with one click.
Step 5: Guest Notification
The guest will be notified of your decision, and updated booking details will be shared automatically.
Important Note: If you want to accept a modification with a different price, please reach out to Holidu's Customer Support team so your request can be handled.
Where Does This Apply?
This feature is available for Airbnb and Booking.com first, since these channels generate the most modification requests. Initially, some requests may still follow the previous process through our customer support team as we roll the feature out gradually.
