Cape Greco is a must see when in Ayia Napa. These incredible rock formations were shaped by the crashing waves on the rugged cliffs over centuries. Some of the caves can be accessed on foot but a great way to explore them is snorkeling. A great spot for taking great pictures, especially newly-weds love this spot to create their first memories as Mr. & Mrs. The adventurous one will go for cliff jumping at the perfect spot well known for this practice. Be careful! After exploring the caves, wait for the sun to set and catch a glimpse of the last rays of sun in the horizon.

The alluring waters of the island do attract sunbathers and families to enjoy days out at the beach. But its waters offer much more than just relax. Along the coast, you will find all kinds of water sports on offer- parachutes, fun banana rides and fly fishing. Both adults and children can enjoy activities adapted to their age. Adrenaline junkies will enjoy the fly fishing and stand up paddling board, which are just offered in a few places such as Konnos Bay. Its shape it is that of a castle with a stunning architecture and a unique sycamore tree that is more than 600 years old. No vacations are complete without a good recipe from the local cuisine of the island.The island is dotted with local fish taverns along the coast and also in the inner town, so there goes without saying that tasting the fresh fish is a must. Indulge your senses with a meze, a small portion of a dish served with ouzo or raki. Taste the most colourful mezes including salads, dips, fresh fish and varied local seafood recipes. The best fish to have and worth tasting are whitebait, white mullet, sea bass, sea bream, delicious grilled octopus and baby squid.

Touring the island by car, on foot or by bike are some of the possibilities to explore the island. Nevertheless, we recommend a boat trip to have a different perspective of the island and its marvellous coastline. Book a boat tour and enjoy a day sailing around the island making a few stops along the way and enjoying snacks and drinks with or without lively music playing depending on the tour.

Known for its clubs, youngsters and adults alike enjoy the buzzing night scene of the island at the best nightclubs. The whole island offers great fun and even locals join it. Great Djs entertain their fans and light up the night. Mingle around, enjoy the music and dance to the beat at Soho Club or The Castle Club. If you prefer some quieter entertainment, there are some quieter spots around the main square and along Nissi Avenue, where to still enjoy a few drinks and some music playing in the background. The Thalassa Museum is the right spot for marine and culture lovers where they can see the significance and the impact of the sea on Ayia Napa. “Thalassa” is the Greek word meaning “sea”. Located in the centre of town, its doors opened back in 2005 and ever since has tried to bring the main essence of the sea to locals and visitors alike. Discover the exhibitions on the three floors and marvel at the pygmy hippo skeleton or the life-size replica of the ship that sank off the coast of Keryneia or the dangling pieces hanging from the ceiling.
