How does Holidu work?

Holidu browses more than 100 booking sites for you and bundles all offered prices into one transparent overview. When you find an accommodation you like, click on the offer. You can either book directly on Holidu or be redirected to the rental provider's booking site to finalize your reservation. Our service is completely free of charge for you. We use image recognition to make price comparisons between different rental providers possible.

According to what criteria does Holidu select the search results?

Holidu uses a dynamic, self-learning algorithm to sort and display search results. The order depends on the information you enter and the sorting preferences you choose.

Search criteria

The results shown to you are based on the details you enter when searching, such as:

• Destination: where you want to go.
• Price range: your budget for accommodation.
• Number of guests: how many people the accommodation must accommodate.
• Accommodation type: for example hotel, villa, or apartment.
• Facilities and characteristics: features such as a pool or Wi-Fi.
• Provider remuneration: Holidu often receives compensation from third-party providers, and this may influence the position of listings in search results.

Sorting preferences

You can change the order of your search results by choosing one of the following options:

• Popularity: how often a listing is viewed or booked.
• Best offer: listings with optimal pricing or deals.
• Ratings: accommodations with the best reviews.
• Other parameters: ranking among similar offers of comparable type and quality, and click performance and booking success, where listings that attract more clicks or bookings may rank higher.
