Cozy house situated on a large farm. "Gildes vollen" is a nature protected place in a beautiful location and it is half an hour walk to Ringebu.
The couple who owns the house also has their own woodcarving shop with sales.
It is only a short walk down to the fishing river Gudbrandsdalslågen.
For mountain walks you can either walk or drive about 12 km to get up the mountain.
Ringebu center with many stores is not far away.
In Kvitfjell, which is about 30 min drive away, you can go skiing.
There is also a good starting point for rafting in the river Sjoa.
In summer pilgrims also pass by the farm on their way to Trondheim, they spend the night in the other house on the farm.
Many birdhouses on the buildings.
The farm also has its own vegetable garden with fresh organic salad and berries.

Dejligt historisk sted med smuk beliggenhed. Her kommer man helt ned i gear. Stedet er et godt udgangspunkt hvis man vil besøge OL anlæggene fra vinter OL i 1994, Norsk Vegmuseum, Hunderfossen eller nyde de smukke Rondanefjelde. Huset ligger lige neden for den smukke Ringebu Stavkirke.
