Close to the main touristic attractions of Paris, accessible through several means of transportation, the neighborhood offers the luxury of being in Paris with your feet in the water ! By the way, during the Summer, the bassin de la Villette changes into a second Paris Plages (Paris Beaches). There, children and grown-ups play boules, do pedalo on the canal, improve their tan comfortably installed on a deckchair or on the sand under the very welcomed water sprays, while sipping beer or Perrier...
