In this thatched-roof house from 1860, a special kind of holiday awaits you – the rustic and historic-looking furnishings will transport you to another time, allowing you to follow in the footsteps of the great Ahrenshoop artists even in your holiday home.
The house welcomes you on the ground floor with a large living and dining area, which also offers access to the terrace and garden.
In this area, there is a stylish fireplace that will make even mild spring and autumn days feel cozy.
You can also access the spacious kitchen from the living and dining area through the hallway; it is fully equipped and ready for you to use for shared cooking evenings.
In the kitchen, you will also find a washer-dryer, which will free up necessary space in your suitcase for holiday souvenirs.
Behind the kitchen is a small, lockable apartment with a bathroom with a shower, a kitchenette, and a pull-out bed (2x 90x200cm).
In the entrance area of the house, you will also find a guest toilet. On the first floor of the house, there is a large bedroom with a freestanding double bed (180x200cm), a desk, and a cozy seating area with a view of the fireplace.
Opposite this bedroom, you will find another one, also equipped with a desk and built-in wardrobes.
The double bed (180x200cm) built into an alcove offers additional sleeping space.
Also on this floor, you will find the largest of the three bathrooms.
In addition to a shower, it also has a bathtub. On the second and top floor of the house, there is another sleeping area (120x200cm) on a gallery.
From here, you have a good view through the gable windows. The house is located directly on the bike path along the Bodden, making it the ideal starting point for extensive bike tours across the Darß, as you can simply step out the garden gate onto the bike path. The Boddenhus features Wi-Fi, a parking space, and warmly welcomes you and your two dogs in the fully fenced garden. Please note for your stay in this beautifully restored house the construction year of 1860: the ceiling height is rather low, the floorboards creak, and the heating system is installed in a cupboard in the hallway.
