Regina Dar is a spectacular luxury property located in the center of Positano, with architectural elements that blend Arab style with the typical rich majolica style of Positano.
After a skillful renovation that has further enhanced its characteristic elements, it is the ideal place to spend your holidays in relaxation, by the sea, and in luxury. The historic building in which it is located is one of the late 18th-century palaces that directly overlook the sea, offering a breathtaking view of the Galli islands and the entire Amalfi coast. The recent renovation has combined elements of Arab-Mediterranean culture, which has long influenced the architecture and construction techniques of the maritime republic of Amalfi, such as a majolica tub reminiscent of a hammam, and an ivory-colored stone floor cut in the shape of an Arab star.
To complete the look, there are early 19th-century Vietri majolica tiles, present in both the kitchen and dining room, which faithfully reproduce the concept of the stove used for cooking in the past. The antique majolica tiles also reappear in the headboards of the beds and in the open wardrobes, bringing rhythm and color to large, bright white spaces.
