Capanna di Elfo is a beautifully restored former Tuscan barn, carefully renovated by its owners Claudio and Angelica to create a welcoming countryside home that combines traditional character with modern comfort.
Set in a small rural hamlet yet completely independent, the villa offers privacy, open views, and the peaceful atmosphere of the Tuscan countryside. Surrounded by a private garden, the property enjoys panoramic views across rolling hills and vineyards — the kind of landscape that makes Tuscany so unforgettable, especially at sunset.
Outdoor living is an essential part of the experience here. The garden features a veranda and shaded dining area where guests can relax in the evening, share meals outdoors, and enjoy the warm colors of the Tuscan sky as the sun sets over the hills.
The house offers the charm of traditional Tuscan architecture together with comfortable spaces designed for relaxed stays with family or friends.
Claudio and Angelica live nearby and are always happy to assist guests if needed. They also produce their own honey locally and personally welcome guests upon arrival.

The villa accommodates up to eight guests across four double bedrooms, each with its own ensuite bathroom.
Two bedrooms are located on the ground floor, including one designed to be accessible for guests with limited mobility. The remaining two bedrooms are located on the upper floor, offering comfortable and quiet sleeping spaces.
The ground floor also features a spacious living room, a large traditional Tuscan kitchen with a long dining table perfect for shared meals, a fully equipped kitchen including induction hob, oven, refrigerator, freezer, microwave, Lavazza A Modo Mio coffee machine, kettle, toaster and cookware, a laundry room with washing machine
Air conditioning is available throughout the villa to ensure comfort during the warmer months.
Outside, guests can enjoy the private garden and covered pergola, ideal for al fresco dining and relaxing in the fresh countryside air.
A private hot tub is available from April 1st to October 30th. During the winter months it can be opened upon request for an additional fee.
Pets are welcome upon request (€150 additional fee to be paid in cash).
The following might be to be paid extra: Heating, Outdoor Jacuzzi, Pets, Refundable Security Deposit, Tourist tax.

My friends and I had an amazing experience at this villa -- the hosts were incredibly responsive when we accidentally locked ourselves out! And the home was incredibly comfortable and just as advertised. I recommend this villa to anyone who wants a peaceful, relaxing Tuscany experience.
