During the summer vacations you can swim at the beach and rent boats and pedal boats all summer long. The castle Reinhardtstein is 200 meters from the lake and is worth a visit. Since a few years you can make nice and easy bike tours along the former Vennbahn, where a steam locomotive used to run. You can also use this route for skating or hiking, do not forget to enjoy the beautiful view on the way. The famous spa town of Spa is 20 km away, the new thermal baths guarantee an absolute relaxing day.
