Company
Holidu was founded in Munich in 2014 by Johannes and Michael Siebers after they had a frustrating experience booking a vacation apartment for a surfing vacation in Portugal. The brothers noticed that many of the accommodations were offered on several websites at different prices and availability. For guests and hosts, the lack of coordination of calendars and the lack of transparency was a major source of uncertainty and frustration.
They have therefore made it their mission to change the booking and rental of vacation accommodation so that it is full of joy and confidence and free of concerns. On the Holidu portal, travelers book their vacation accommodation with confidence and thanks to the software and service solutions, hosts and landlords receive more bookings with less effort.
The Holidu team now comprises more than 500 travel and technology enthusiasts from over 60 nations. Headquartered in Munich, the company has 23 local branches in the most attractive travel destinations in Europe. Holidu has received several awards as a fast-growing company and for its service and is one of the most popular employers in Germany.
